The Precision Optics segment is dedicated to designing and producing precision thin film coatings, optical filters, and assemblies. These products are marketed directly from Materion's facilities and through direct sales offices and independent representatives worldwide. Originally incorporated in 1931 and formerly known as Brush Engineered Materials Inc., Materion Corporation rebranded in 2011 and is headquartered in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, emphasizing its commitment to innovation and excellence in advanced materials production.
